Booking and Payment.
A non-refundable deposit (usually 20% of the total trip cost) is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu or in advance if required.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. Any transaction or bank charges must be paid by the client.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Refunds depend on the time of cancellation:
More than 30 days before the trip: deposit is forfeited
15–30 days before the trip: 30–50% of the total cost is retained
Less than 14 days before the trip or no-show: no refund
If the trip is canceled by the guide due to unavoidable reasons, clients may choose a full refund or reschedule. External costs such as flights are not refundable.
Itinerary Changes and Risks
Trekking itineraries may change due to weather conditions, health issues, or local circumstances.
Suitable alternatives will be provided when possible. The guide is not responsible for additional costs, unused services, or risks inherent in trekking and mountaineering.
Health, Safety, and Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory and must cover high-altitude trekking, medical emergencies, helicopter evacuation, and personal belongings.
Clients must be physically fit and in good health. Some trips may require a medical certificate.
Permits, Conduct, and Liability
Required permits such as TIMS cards, national park permits, and restricted area permits will be arranged.
A licensed guide is mandatory for foreign trekkers, and solo trekking is restricted in Nepal.
Clients must respect local culture, traditions, and the environment. Any misconduct may result in trip termination without a refund.
The guide is not liable for delays, accidents, or issues caused by third-party services.
