Mera Peak Climbing

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, where you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Rest and relax after your journey while preparing for the exciting adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan views. From Lukla, begin your trek through the beautiful trails of the Everest region, passing forests and traditional villages, and arrive at Chutanga (3,020 m) for an overnight stay.

Today, trek through rugged Himalayan landscapes and ascend the Zatrwa La Pass at 4,610 m, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. After crossing the pass, descend to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m / 14,107 ft) for an overnight stay amidst pristine alpine scenery.

Continue your journey through the remote Hinku Valley, trekking across high-altitude trails surrounded by rugged mountains and serene landscapes. Arrive at Kote (4,182 m), a peaceful settlement where you will spend the night, taking in the quiet beauty of the Himalayas.

Follow the trail along the pristine Hinku River, surrounded by dramatic Himalayan scenery. Cross alpine meadows and scattered yak pastures as you ascend gently to Thaknak (4,358 m), where you will rest for the night and prepare for higher-altitude trekking ahead.

Take a well-deserved rest day at Thaknak (4,358 m) to recover and acclimatize. Use this time to explore the surrounding alpine landscapes, enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere, and prepare your body for the upcoming climb.

Begin your ascent from Thaknak, trekking through stunning high-altitude terrain with panoramic views of surrounding peaks. Arrive at Khare (5,000 m), a small settlement near Mera Peak Base Camp, where you’ll spend the night and continue your acclimatization for the climb ahead.

Today, continue your ascent from Khare to Mera Peak Base Camp at 5,300 m. Trek through rocky trails and high-altitude landscapes, taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan giants. Arrive at Base Camp, settle in, and prepare for your pre-climb training and acclimatization.

Begin your climb from Base Camp, steadily ascending through rugged terrain and rocky ridges. Reach Mera High Camp at 5,780 m, offering stunning views of nearby Himalayan peaks. Spend the night resting and acclimatizing in preparation for the summit attempt.

Start early for the final push to the summit of Mera Peak. Reach the top and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and other Himalayan giants. After celebrating your achievement, carefully descend back to Khare (5,000 m) for a well-earned rest and overnight stay.

Begin your descent from Khare, retracing your steps through the beautiful Hinku Valley. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend to Kote (4,182 m), where you’ll rest for the night and reflect on your summit achievement.

Continue your trek through the serene alpine landscapes of the Hinku Valley. Ascend gradually to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m), enjoying spectacular mountain views along the way. Overnight stay at Thuli Kharka allows you to rest comfortably after the day’s trek.

Retrace your steps over the Zatrwa La Pass at 4,610 m, taking in the stunning Himalayan panoramas one last time. Descend through scenic trails and valleys to reach Lukla (2,840 m), where you’ll rest and celebrate the completion of your trek.

Take a scenic morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu, enjoying spectacular views of the Himalayas from the air. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax, reflecting on your incredible Mera Peak adventure.
